USA Hockey

With a membership of more than 585,000 ice and inline hockey players, coaches, officials and volunteers, USA Hockey's primary emphasis is on the support and development of grassroots hockey programs.

Minnesota Hockey

Minnesota Hockey is the statewide governing body of amateur hockey in Minnesota and an affiliate of USA Hockey. Since 1947, Minnesota Hockey (formerly known as the Minnesota Amateur Hockey Association) has been providing volunteer services for the development and promotion of all youth hockey in Minnesota

Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild are based in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States. They are members of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The team was founded in 2000, becoming the first NHL franchise in Minnesota since the Minnesota North Stars moved to Dallas. The Wild play at the Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota has two minor-league affiliates, the Houston Aeros and the Bakersfield Condors.

WCHA

The Western Collegiate Hockey Association is a college athletic conference which operates over a wide area of the Midwestern and Western United States. It participates in the NCAA's Division I as a ice hockey-only conference. WCHA member teams have won a record 36 men's NCAA hockey championships.

MN Duluth Bulldogs

The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents the University of Minnesota Duluth. The Bulldogs are a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). They play at the 6,800-seat AMSOIL Arena part of the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC) in Duluth, Minnesota.

St. Cloud State

The St. Cloud State Huskies men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents St. Cloud State University. The Huskies are a member of Western Collegiate Hockey Association. They play at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

University of North Dakota

The North Dakota Fighting Sioux Hockey is an NCAA sport team playing at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The Sioux have appeared in the NCAA tournament 25 times, the Frozen Four 18 times, won 7 Frozen Four NCAA Division I Championships, 14 WCHA Regular Season Championships, and 8 WCHA Tournament Championships.

University of Minnesota

The Minnesota Golden Gophers men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team at the Twin Cities campus of the University of Minnesota. They are members of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I ice hockey. The Golden Gophers have won five NCAA national championships, in 1974, 1976, 1979, 2002 and 2003.

Bemidji State University

The Bemidji State Beavers men's ice hockey were a member of College Hockey America and have since joined the Western Collegiate Hockey Association as of the 2010-2011 season. The Bemidji State Beavers women's ice hockey team also competes in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The men's ice hockey team qualified for the 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament.

University of Wisconsin

The Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents the University of Wisconsin–Madison in Madison, Wisconsin. The team plays at the Kohl Center and is coached by former Badger and NHL player, Mike Eaves. The Badger's ice hockey team completes in the hockey-only Western Collegiate Hockey Association. The Badger's have won three WCHA regular season conference titles and eleven conference tournament titles. They have also made 24 appearances in the NCAA men's ice hockey tournament, advancing to the Frozen Four 11 times. The team's 6 national titles rank fourth best in college hockey history.

The Hockey News, commonly abbreviated to THN, is a North American ice hockey magazine published by Transcontinental. The Hockey News was founded in 1947 by Ken McKenzie and Bill Côté, and has since been the most recognized hockey publication in North America. The magazine has a readership of 225,000 people per issue, while the magazine's website counts two million total readers.
